My Story

Presently trying to put on paper an upbeat slant on this world and society we live in, where we seem to be woefully unprepared and without a plan, for how to continue as a race, into the future…

I am at the centre of my existence, someone who believes in justice, and I get very upset about the world’s injustices, even if they are a natural phenomenon, like rain at a wedding.

It just upsets me, that someone has a sunny day, and others get a howling gale….

Someone gets a great “Send Off” another has no ceremony, no last words, no family around them, even though the family is there, and cares greatly…

These are not right, they are unfair, and it harms me, mentally.

But I am built of sturdy stuff, for one reason or another, my strangely at times surreal life, has given me foundations that are placed firmly into the earth, and I have the skin of a Rhino, plus a kind of mental strength from surviving the consequences of my life decisions, resulting in surviving some very inhospitable environments physically and mentally around the world and in “The society of Men”.

So!

Poetry seems to have started a path of its own, quite surprisingly…

But I am so far enthralled to be writing the “Near Future” scenarios where I painfully try to construct a path going forward that doesn’t damage us as a race, or individuals, or the nature of this beautiful blue jewel of a planet hurtling through space and time.

Then there is comedy… my life has been full of priceless comedic incident, that basically should never have happened, but it did, and still does, so it is always included in the mix of things.

Onwards and upwards… seems to be my mantra… so hopefully some positivity coming your way… there is enough doom and gloom available out there about an apocalyptic future, and it’s just so easy and predictable to write that stuff…

I personally really don’t believe it will go that way, but that might just be a mental survival mechanism, turned on in me, and it seems to have become the biggest part of my nature.

So if you want to be amused, and hopefully enthused by my uttering’s…
